With a degree in English and 25 years of experience in law enforcement, Carol brings firsthand knowledge and authenticity to the investigations, characters, and high-stakes situations woven throughout her novels. Her stories feature strong, complex characters navigating danger, justice, and relationships when the stakes are at their highest.

When she isn’t writing or working in law enforcement, Carol is a wife, mother, and small business owner. She lives along the northern shore of Lake Superior in Northwestern Ontario, where the rugged landscape provides plenty of inspiration for a writer who believes the best stories combine suspense, resilience, and heart.

Carol enjoys travelling and outdoor adventures with her husband and two sons—and believes that, even in the darkest moments, love always wins.
