I love it when something old is new. Turns out Geocaching has been around for a while, but it was new to us. Our family hiked for three hours in the rain, and didn’t want it to end. Incredible. Life isn’t always going to be positive, a bed of roses, but why not make it that way whenever we can? We had rainy, cool weather for days, but we didn’t let that stop us, and we had an awesome time out as a family.
It’s all about the approach. As a writer, it’s not that I didn’t reach my word goal today, it’s that I wrote today – and my story is closer to the end, than yesterday. With that philosophy, I win every day.
My second novel, previously Love is a Crime now titled Out of Focus, is in the capable hands of the professionals at Friesen Press, so stay tuned. The characters of book three of the Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) Series have demanded my attention, their story is underway, and it’s crossing the border taking Tucker and Scotland to unfamiliar territory. Hopefully they can survive the journey.
